In November 2003, Dan published a very successful pamphlet
for the Economic Research Council (http://www.ercouncil.org/) "Recharging
The Nation - The Challenge and Cost of Increasing Renewable Electricity"
- an economics based look at renewable energy generation, the potential
and costs for solar, wind, hydro and biomass.

Dan is Research Director of the Economic Research Council, Britain's
